The entry point to the CFC-Youth for Christ is the Youth Camp. It is a three-day live-in camp usually conducted during the summer or semester break to officially bring teenagers and/or young adults into CFC-Youth.
Meaning Behind the Design
The idea behind this design is to show how much the Lord truly desires each one of us — so much that He gave His life on the Cross. The theme comes from John 19:28, where Jesus says, “I thirst.” Those words aren’t just about physical thirst, but about His deep longing for a relationship with us. The message reminds us that Jesus thirsts for our love, and as we grow in faith, we realize that we also thirst for Him — for His love, His presence, and a closer relationship with Him. The camp theme beautifully goes both ways: the Lord desires us, and we desire Him too.
Camp Logo Explanation
Since the camp theme is the verse from John 19:28 “I thirst”, I wanted the logo to reflect Jesus’ deep longing for us. The cracks on His face symbolize that thirst — not just physical pain, but His desire for our hearts. Showing Him with the crown of thorns captures that powerful moment on the Cross when He spoke those words. It’s a reminder of His love, sacrifice, and how much He wants to be close to us.
